The goal of the article is not to show how to adapt Kanban because of how the tool works. On the contrary, it shows how to implement Kanban in a different way. I totally agree that quality should never be sacrificed. In my experience, I’ve found this approach to Kanban much more valuable, which is why I decided to share it with an article. It’s not intended to be an orthodox guide on how to use Kanban.
